Carol Sue Winder

Carol Sue Winder, 76, of Chincoteague Island, VA went to be with the Lord on October 25, 2018 at her residence surrounded by her loving family and friends.

She was born in Nassawadox, VA on April 21, 1942 to the late Clarence and Lillian (Thornton) Taylor.

She was a member of Union Baptist Church, Rainbow Sisters Sunday School Class, Chincoteague Church of God, and Accomack Chapter #62 Order of Eastern Star.

Carol Sue is survived by her loving daughter, Laurie Haugh and her husband Karl of Chincoteague Island, VA; Granddaughter, Karla Haugh Hunter and her husband Adam of Chincoteague Island, VA; Grandson, Nicholas Taylor Haugh of Chincoteague Island, VA; special sister, Carolyn Bowden of Chincoteague Island, VA; Brother, Clarence Robert Taylor and his wife Brenda of Wallops Island, VA; Two Nephews, Chad Robert Taylor and his wife Angela of Virginia Beach, VA, Matthew Taylor and his wife Tera of Greenbackville, VA; Special Cousin, Debbie Groller and her husband Ray of NJ; several great nieces, great nephews, and cousins. She will be missed by all but especially the "Greatful Eight", Brenda Winder, Debbie Howard, Roseanne Conner, Donna Birch, Winkie Melvin, Joanne Snead, and Nancy Umphlett.

She was preceeded in death by her parents, her in laws, John and Emil Winder, and a special friend, Juanita "Snooks" Turlington.

Funeral services will be held on Monday, October 29, 2018, 2:00 pm at the Union Baptist Church, Chincoteague Island, VA, with Rev. Kevin Eley, Pastor Kevin Stanley, officiating.

Burial will take place in the Daisey Cemetery on Church Street Chincoteague Island, VA.
