Danny Walker Horner, 74, of Chincoteague Island, VA passed away on March 31, 2021 at his residence.
He was born in Nassawadox, VA on January 28, 1947 to the late Leonard and Adelaide (Baker) Horner.
He was a member of Christ United Methodist Church on Chincoteague Island, VA.
Danny is survived by his loving spouse of 46 years,Gail Birch Horner of Chincoteague Island, VA; daughter, Wendy Savage and her husband Ellis of Atlantic, VA; Granddaughter, Mackenzie Savage of Atlantic, VA; several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Leonard Horner, Jr..
Funeral services will be held on Monday, April 5, 2021, 2:00 pm with a viewing from 1 to 2 PM at the Salyer Funeral Home, Chincoteague Island, VA, with Rev. Maurice Enright, officiating.
Burial will take place in the Mechanics Cemetery on Chincoteague Island, VA.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Riverside Hospice 25379 Lankford Highway Suite A, Onley, VA 23418. Services entrusted to Salyer Funeral Home, Inc. on Chincoteague Island, VA. Condolences may be made online at www.salyerfh.com.
