Donald Luther Riley

Donald Luther Riley, 84, of Atlantic, VA passed away on April 15, 2018 at Coastal Hospice at the Lake in Salisbury, MD.

He was born on Chincoteague Island, VA on April 17, 1933 to the late Marvin Riley and Alice (Hudson) Scott.

Donald is survived by his loving spouse of 21 years, Laura Elizabeth Stevens Riley of Atlantic, VA; two sons, Ricky Riley of Golden Beach, MD, Martin Riley and his wife Tammy of Chincoteague Island, VA; one daughter, Carla Jones and her husband Cecil of Pocomoke City, MD; three step sons, Ronald Stevens and his girlfriend Mary Temple of Elizabeth City, NC, Jeff Stevens, III and his wife Debbie of Chincoteague Island, VA, Greg Stevens and his wife Rosemary of Delmar, MD; step daughter, Ruby Nelson and her husband Mark of North Ridgeville, OH; adopted son of the heart, Nathan "Skibo" Clark and his wife Cristy of Chincoteague Island, VA; 7 grandchildren, 13 step grandchildren; 3 great grandchildren, 15 step great grandchildren; several nieces, nephews, and friends.

Visitation will be held Wednesday, April 18, 2018, 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm at Salyer Funeral Home, Inc., Chincoteague Island, VA.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, April 19, 2018, 2:00 pm at the Salyer Funeral Home, Inc., Chincoteague Island, VA with Pastor Donald Bailey, officiating.

Burial will take place in the Downing Cemetery in Oak Hall, VA.
