Jacqueline Craig Obituary

Jacqueline Ann Craig, 81, of Chincoteague Island, VA passed away on June 24, 2018 at Riverside Shore Memorial Hospital.

She was born in Montclair, NJ on April 11, 1937 to the late John and Betsy (O'Donnell) Fennell.

She graduated from West Orange High School in 1953 and then later Newark State Teachers College. She taught Junior High at Rockaway Township in New Jersey. She was one of the founders of Noah's Ark Animal Rescue in Morris County, NJ. She and her husband Bill retired to Chincoteague Island, VA in 2000. She was a member of Saint Andrew the Apostle Catholic Church on Chincoteague Island, VA.

Jacqueline is survived by her loving spouse of 53 years, William Craig of Chincoteague Island, VA; Son, Benjamin John Craig of Lake Hiawatha, NJ; several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her father, John Fennell, mother, Betsy Fennell and brother, Robert Fennell.

Memorial service will be held on Saturday, June 30, 2018 at 10 am at the Saint Andrew the Apostle Catholic Church, Chncoteague Island, VA , with, Father Michael Imperial officiating.
