Jean Pruitt Obituary
Jean C. Pruitt, 75, of Greenbackville, VA passed away on March 18, 2020 at her residence surrounded by her loving family.
She was born on Chincoteague Island, VA on February 2, 1945 to the late Lawrence and Louise (Lewis) Cherrix.
Jean is survived by ; Two Daughters, Norma Jean Pruitt of Pocomoke City, MD, Roberta Lynn Hebden of Greenbackville, VA; one son, Sam Mason of FL; granddaughter whom she loved as a daughter, Heather Burkhead of Greenbackville, VA; grandson whom she raised and loved as a son, James E. Pruitt, III of IN; several grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, beloved husband of 51 years, Jim Pruitt, and six siblings, Royce Lee, Bobby, Buddy, Sammy, Johnny, and Billie Rae.
Her family was the apple of her eye and she will be missed dearly as she was the rock and the glue of the family.
Memorial Service will be held at a later date.
