Pamela Theresa Malone

Pamela Theresa Malone, 71, of Chincoteague Island, VA went to be with her Lord on April 30, 2018 at her residence surrounded by her loving family.

She was born in Norfolk, VA on October 22, 1946 to the late Clarence and Frances Betts.

She was a faithful member of Union Baptist Church and the Ruth Sunday School Class. She served on the Board of Directors of Chincoteague Chamber of Commerce. Pam's passion in life was keeping up with her two granddaughters; she was their biggest fan in all of their endeavors. With her spare time, she volunteered at PRMC and CVFC. She owned and operated Bill's Seafood Restaurant along side of her husband Ronnie for 15 years.

After years in the restaurant business, Pam went to work as the secretary for B.I.C. for her remaining years.

Pamela is survived by her loving spouse of 54 years, Ronald Harvey Malone Sr. of Chincoteague Island, VA; son, Ronald Harvey Malone, Jr. and his wife Shawn of Chincoteague Island, VA; two granddaughters, Ronny Nicole Malone and Kelsey Lynn Malone both of Chincoteague Island, VA; two sisters, Patricia Derry Betts of Lakeland, FL, Deborah Betts Bender and her husband Lou of Chincoteague Island, VA; several nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, cousins, and life long friends.

She was preceded in death by her father, Clarence Howard Betts, mother, Frances Emily Betts, brother, Richard Hubert Betts and special sisters, Joan Carol Betts and Betty Jo Holloway.

Funeral services will be held on Sunday, May 6, 2018, 2:00 pm at the Union Baptist Church, Chincoteague Island, VA, with Rev. Kevin Eley, Rev. Michael Williams, officiating.
