Sharlene C. East

Sharlene C, East, 71, of Mears, VA went home to be with the Lord on October 15, 2018 at Riverside Shore Memorial Hospital.

She was born in Atltantic, VA on May 4, 1947 to the late Louis and Agnes (Thomas) Coulbourne.

She was a member of Atlantic Baptist Church.

Sharlene is survived by her fiance, Jack Gladding of Mears, VA daughter, Cristy Clark and her husband Nathan of Chincoteague Island, VA; Grandson, Matthew Clark and his girlfriend Kelly Harris of Newport News, VA; Granddaughter, Taylor Clark and her boyfriend Austin Bagwell of Chincoteague Island, VA; ; step son, Duane Gladding and his wife Jessica of Chincoteague Island, VA; Two Brothers, Tommy Coulbourne and his wife Ellen of Greenbackville, VA, David Coulbourne and his wife Sheila of Atlantic, VA; Two Sisters, Bonnie Coulbourne of Fort Mill, SC, Sheila Coulbourne and her husband Donnie Williams of New Church, VA; Friend, Tykia Harmon of Mears, VA; four legged best friend, Oliver; several nieces and nephews.

Memorial Service will be held on Thursday, October 18, 2018, 2:00 pm at the Salyer Funeral Home, Inc., Chincoteague Island, VA, with Rev. Maurice Enright, officiating.
