Alice Sherry Obituary
Alice Louise Sherry, of New Church, VA, formally of Delaware County, PA. passed away peacefully on January 18, 2025, at Shore Health and Rehabilitation in Parksley, VA.
Alice was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother and a dedicated homemaker. She was born in Philadelphia, PA, on March 6, 1935, to the late George and Madeline Wells.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Matthew Sherry, granddaughter, Jenny Mills, grandson, TJ Flanagan, and grandson-in-law, Jon Roesch.
Alice is survived by her five daughters, Gail Chappell, Sharen Mills, Joyce Falkinburg, Diane Hutchins, and Tina Quinn, and 12 grandchildren and 22 great-grandchildren plus 4 great, great-grandchildren.
A private burial will take place in the John W. Taylor Memorial Cemetery in Temperanceville, VA. Services entrusted to Salyer Funeral Home, Inc. Condolences may be made online at www.salyerfh.com
