Mrs. Ann Warnick, 64, of Chincoteague Island, VA. passed away suddenly Tuesday, June 15th, 2010 at Peninsula Regional Medical Center, Salisbury, MD.
Ann was born in Cuthbert, GA on April 7, 1946, the daughter of the late William Gill and Hayes (Miller) Ramick.
She owned and operated Ann's Hairport in Chincoteague, VA for over twenty-five years. She was a member of American Legion Auxiliary Unit #159, where she was past president and past president of 1st and 2nd district. She was recently elected as Department Vice President of Eastern Zone and is the current Secretary Downtown Merchants Association.
She is survived by her husband Nolan Warnick of Chincoteague, VA; two daughters Terry Rogers and her husband Greg of Lincoln, DE and Tammy Knott and her husband Joe of Hollywood, MD; three grandchildren, Jeremy Knott of Hollywood, MD, Nicole Rogers of Lincoln, DE, and Kiley Purcell and her husband Royce II of Houston, DE; one great grandson Royce Purcell III of Houston, DE, and brother Mike Gill of Houston, TX. She was greatly loved and will be missed by her Papillion, Mysti.
Friends are invited to call Friday, June 18th, 7-9 PM. at Salyer Funeral Home, Inc in Chincoteague, VA.
Funeral Service will be held at Salyer Funeral Home, Inc., at 2 PM on Saturday, June 19th, with Rev. Travis DeLoach officiating.
Interment will be held at John W. Taylor Memorial Cemetery,Temperenceville, VA.
