Billy Fowlkes

Mr. William Joseph Fowlkes (Peabody), 43, of Chincoteague Island, VA. passed away Sunday, February 22nd, 2009 at Peninsula Regional Medical Center, Salisbury, MD.
Peabody was born in Nassawadox, VA on May 8, 1965, the son of Adelia (Jones) Fowlkes of Meherrin, VA. and the late Carroll J. Fowlkes.
He worked as a carpenter for Ocean Builders of Chincoteague, Va.
Peabody is survived by a fiance', Jennifer Kerrick of Chincoteague; two daughters, Jessica Kerrick of Pennsylvania and Jossie Kerrick of Chincoteague Island; two grandchildren, Jayson Dean Deihl of Pennsylvania and Kayleb Zed Clark of Chincoteague; Grandparents Lola Mae and Cork McGee of Chincoteague, VA; mother-in-law, Patsy L. Shaffer; father-in-law, Robert E. Shaffer of Pennsylvania; and several aunts, uncles, and cousins
He was predeceased by son, Jason Dean Kerrick.
Funeral Service will be held at Church of God, Chincoteague, VA, at 2 PM on Thursday, February 26th, with Rev. John Thorne officiating.
Friends are invited to call Wednesday 7-9 PM. at Salyer Funeral Home.
Interment will be held at Mechanics Cemetery Chincoteague, VA.
