In Loving Memory of Brett Allen Newsome
Our precious son, Brett Allen Newsome, passed away on June 9, 2025, in the arms of his mommy and daddy, after bravely fighting for three days at Nemours Children’s Hospital. In his short time with us, Brett brought endless love, laughter, and light into our lives. We will carry his memory with us always. He is, and will forever be, our baby boy.
A visitation will be held on June 26th from 1:00–2:00 PM, at Salyer Funeral Home, Inc., on Chincoteague Island, VA, followed by a celebration of Brett’s life at 2:00 PM.
In honoring Brett’s joyful spirit, we kindly ask guests to please avoid wearing black. Instead, help us celebrate his beautiful life by wearing colors that reflect the brightness he brought into the world. Brett is surely in heaven, giggling and playing his little heart out.
