Calvin J. Booth Sr.

Calvin J. Booth Sr., 89, of Wildwood, NJ, formerly of Chincoteague, VA, passed away Wednesday, July 27th, at Cape May Regional Hospital, Cape May Courthouse, NJ.
Calvin was born in Chincoteague, Virginia on August 2, 1921, a son of the late Edna (Jester) and Roland Booth.
He was a member of Union Baptist Church and Anglers Sunday School Class in Chincoteague Island, VA.
He is survived by his wife, Juanita Thornton Booth of NJ; two children, Calvin J. Booth Jr. of Wildwood, NJ, Judy Booth Wilgus and her companion Glenn C. Kay of Wildwood, NJ; three grandchildren Christopher James Wilgus Sr. of Parsonsburg, MD, Jennifer Marie Booth of Rio Grand, NJ, Sharon Wexler and her husband Steve of Villas, NJ; four great grandchildren, Christopher James Wilgus Jr. of Parsonsburg, MD, Brittany Wexler of Villas, NJ, Jaime Wexler of Villas, NJ, Aaron Wexler of Villas, NJ; one great great grandchild; two sisters Addie Cherrix of Chincoteague, VA and Virginia Barrett of Chincoteague, VA; several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Friends are invited to call August 2nd, from 7-9 PM at Salyer Funeral Home, Inc. in Chincoteague, VA.
Funeral Service will be held at Salyer Funeral Home, Inc., Chincoteague, VA, at 2 PM on Wednesday, August 3rd, with Rev. Kevin Eley officiating.
Interment will be held at Downing Cemetery, Oak Hall, VA.
