Chester "Chet" Williams

Mr. Chester L. (Chet) Williams, 81, of Chincoteague, VA passed away Sunday, March 7th, 2010 at his residence.
Chet was born in Chincoteague, Virginia on September 15, 1928, the son of the late Marvin and Nellie (Holloway) Williams.
He was a member of Union Baptist Church Chincoteague, VA, Accomack Lodge #243, and Chincoteague Volunteer Fire Company. He was an avid waterman for many years.
He is survived by his wife, Marjorie Williams of Chincoteague, VA, four children; Patricia Williams Burgess and her husband David of Wallops Island, VA, Michael Williams and his wife Katherine of Lorton, Va, Betsy Williams of Severn, MD, and Chet Williams and his wife Kathy of Chincoteague, VA, eight grandchildren, and six great grandchildren and several nieces, nephews, and cousins. He was predeceased in death by his first wife, Betty Ann Taylor Williams.
Memorial Service will be held at Union Baptist Church, Chincoteague Island, VA, at 2 PM on Wednesday, March 10th, with Rev. Kevin Eley officiating.
