Mrs. Cynthia Davis, 82, of Chincoteague Island, VA went to be with the Lord, Thursday, January 1st, 2009 at her residence.
Cynthia was born in Philadelphia, PA on September 12, 1926, the daughter of the late Clifton and Mary (Keating) Watson.
She was a member of Union Baptist Church, Rainbow Sisters Sunday School Class, WMU, and pianist for Union Baptist Church.
She was the widow of William E. Davis.
Cynthia is also survived by
a sister, Joan Tarr and her husband Jim of Portsmouth, VA, three nieces and one nephew,Teresa Knight and her husband Ron of Chesapeake, Va, Dawn Kidd of Chesapeake, VA , David Tarr and his wife Kathy of Chesapeake, VA, and Jami Tarr of Chesapeake, VA several great nieces,great nephews, and cousins.
Funeral Service will be held at Union Baptist Church, Chincoteague, VA, at 2 PM on Monday, January 5th, with Rev. William L. Gregory officiating. Interment will follow in the Greenwood Cemetery in Chincoteague, VA.
Friends are invited to call Sunday 7-9 PM at Salyer Funeral Home, Inc. in Chincoteague, VA.
