Dale Fernandez Obituary
Dale E. Fernandez was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, and friend. She left this world suddenly on July 2, 2024, at age 70.
Dale was born in Bound Brook on November 19, 1953. She was the daughter of the late Paul and Marion (Wyckoff) Sopko.
She worked as a school bus driver for the Pleasant Valley School District for many years.
Dale enjoyed cooking and baking for her family and friends. She loved gardening and taking care of her houseplants. What she loved most was spending time at their camper down at Trail’s End Campground near Chincoteague, VA, where she spent her days on the water crabbing and clamming or tending to her gardens.
We were blessed to have Dale’s presence in our lives, and she will be missed every day. She is survived by her husband of 50 years, Tony; her three children, Sarah, Harmony, and Joshua; grandchildren; a great-grandson; and close friends she considered family.
