David Chelton Obituary
David Allen Chelton, 65, of Atlantic, passed away on December 29, 2023.
He was born on September 30, 1958, to Howard and Dorothy (Lewis) Chelton in Nassawadox, VA.
David worked as a Waterman and delivered gas for Sharp Energy. He loved watching football and NASCAR racing. David is survived by his mother, Dorothy (Lewis) Chelton; fiancé, Doris Shreaves; son, Domenick Chelton; three brothers, Wayne, Timothy, and Mike Chelton; step-son, RJ Hasty; two grandchildren, Violet Hasty and Blake Hasty; nephew, Blake Chelton; and his fur baby, Luna.
He was preceded in death by his father, Howard Chelton.
Memorial services will be held at 2 pm on Saturday, January 13, 2024, at the Saxis United Methodist Church, Saxis, VA, with Rev William Jefferson officiating.
