Dawn Denise Carson-Littleton, 50, of Atlantic, passed away on August 6, 2022
She was born on March 13, 1972 to James and Carolyn (Hummel) Ryals in Downey, CA.
Dawn is survived by her parents, loving spouse Brock Littleton of Atlantic, Va and her son Izaak Carson of Apex, NC, step-children Nicholas Littleton of Atlantic VA and Teagan Littleton of Marrietta, GA. Mother-in-law Christine Littleton of Chincoteague VA and Grandmother-in-law Mildred Wilkerson of Chincoteague VA.
Dawn had a zest for life, she found pleasure in the simple moments in life: watching a hummingbird eat its meal, fishing off the dock, crabbing in the shallow waters of Assateague, shell collecting and sea glass hunting or catching a slowly sinking sunset across the bay. She always said that Chincoteague is her happy place.
Celebration of life will be held at Merritt Harbor fishing pier on September 24th right before sunset (her favorite part of the day).
