Deborah L. Haupin, 57, of Chincoteague, died in her home surrounded by loved ones on October 19, 2011
Deborah was born in Corry, PA on April 8th, 1954 to the late James and Bethel Richards.
Formerly of Warren, PA, Deborah moved to Chincoteague first in 1997, and has been a permanent resident since 2005.
Before retiring to Chincoteague, Deborah was a licensed practical nurse, and worked as an optometric assistant for Dr. Patricia Murphy in Warren, PA for many years. She had a deep interest in the medical field, and loved helping to heal people.
She was a very caring and kind individual, quick to help friends and family in anyway she could. She loved arts and crafts, and was an accomplished painter. She was an avid animal lover, enjoyed the outdoors, camping and spending time with her family. She was an especially loving and caring mother to her sons.
Deborah was preceded in death by both parents and her husband, Robert Lloyd Haupin. She is survived by her two sons, Brett Davis and Robert Haupin, both of Chincoteague, a sister, Brenda Wigren, as well as a grand daughter and a niece and nephew.
A memorial service will be held in Warren, PA at a later date. The website, debhaupinmemorial.blogspot.com has been created in her honor for those wishing to share their memories of Deborah and to donate to help with her final costs.
