Dr. Daniel Carl Cochran (Danny), 55, of Chincoteague, VA, passed away on December 22, 2025.
Danny was born in Southampton, PA, in 1970 to William (Bill) and Carol Cochran. Danny graduated from William Tennent High School and continued studying at Albright College. After completing his education, he attended the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine, becoming a board-certified Family Practitioner. He was a beloved practitioner in Chincoteague, VA, for over a decade. In his medical career, he was admired for his compassion and attentiveness.
Danny was preceded in death by his father, William (Bill) Cochran. He is survived by his mother, Carol Cochran; his children, Hope Cochran and Sophia Cochran; his older brothers, Dave and Bill Cochran; his ex-wife and mother of his children, Dr. Cira Amenta; his partner, Dr. Kevin Carr; and many nieces and nephews.
A service will be held on January 3, 2026, at Redemption Episcopal Church in Southampton, PA.
Family visitation will take place from 9:30 to 10:30 AM, followed by a service at 11:00 AM.
