It is with heavy hearts and profound sadness that we announce the passing of Elizabeth “Beth” Pente on January 11, 2025, surrounded by her loving family. Beth was born on October 24, 1965, to Phyllis Clark and grew up in Pike Creek, Delaware. Her life was a beautiful testament to love, kindness, and the joy of simple pleasures.
Beth met her soulmate, Jeff Pente, in Newark, Delaware. Together, they shared an extraordinary love story spanning over 37 years. They married on September 16, 1995, and built a life filled with laughter, adventure, and unwavering devotion. Beth was the proud and loving mother of their only son, Anthony, who was her greatest joy and accomplishment. Beth also welcomed a cherished friend, Jake Tran, into her family as her adopted son. She cherished her role as a mother and poured her heart into nurturing and supporting her family.
Beth had a deep appreciation for life’s beauty. She loved history, reading, music, and cooking for seniors—a testament to her generous spirit. Her passion for travel was most evident in her love for Chincoteague, Virginia, where she fulfilled her dream of building a home near the beach. There, she found peace photographing the island’s wild ponies and making memories with her family.
Beth’s infectious laughter and warm heart brought light to everyone she met. She was more than a wife, mother, and friend—she was a source of strength, joy, and inspiration to all who knew her. Though her time with us was far too short, her love and legacy will remain in our hearts forever.
Friends and family are invited to honor and celebrate Beth’s life at Firebirds Wood Fired Grill located at 5201 Buckeystown Pike, Frederick, MD, 21702, on January 25, 2025, at 1:00 PM. Please RSVP to jpente@hotmail.com.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Beth’s memory to the American Cancer Society.
Services entrusted to Salyer Funeral Home, Inc., on Chincoteague Island, VA. Online condolences may be made at www.salyerfh.cm
Beth, you will be missed more than words can express, but the love you shared and the memories you created will remain eternal. Rest peacefully, dearest Beth.
