Elizabeth " Betty " (Pilgrim) Stephens

Elizabeth  D.  "Betty" Stephens, 82, of Chincoteague Island, VA passed away on  June 9, 2022 at her residence surrounded by her loving family.  
She was born in Baltimore, MD on January 13, 1940 to the late Frederick and Doris Pilgrim.
She was a member of Church By the Beach on Chincoteague Island, VA .  She was a lifelong Orioles and Ravens fan.  She loved living on Chincoteague for later part of her life.  She was an avid reader and needle point crafter.
Betty  is survived by her loving daughter, Beth Fisher and her husband Garry of Chincoteague Island, VA; Son-in-law, Carl Bittorf of Annapolis, MD; Four Granddaughters, Lauren Bowden and her husband Stephen  of Atlantic, VA, Christine Bair of Lancaster, PA, Katie Carpenter and her husband Danny of Fisherville, VA, Jessy Khoma and her husband Petro of Abingdon, MD; Grandson, Nicholas Bittorf and his wife Jessica of Abingdon, MD; three great grandchildren. 
She was preceded in death by her parents and daughter, Lisa Bittorf.
Services will be held at a later date.
