Esther Binder

Esther Binder, 67, of Chincoteague Island, VA., went to be with the Lord, Wednesday, June 3rd, 2009 while in the company of family members.
Esther was born in Chincoteague, VA, on June 20, 1941,.to the late Snowden and Ida (Berry) Thornton.
Esther was a faithful employee of Island Property for over 35 years. She was a graduate of the class of 1959 from Chincoteague High School and the Alpha College of Real Estate. She was a loving mom and grandmom and will be missed greatly.
Esther is survived by a son C. James Binder and his wife Natalie Novack of Atlantic, VA; two grandsons Tristan and Tanner Binder of Atlantic, VA; a brother Donald Thornton and his wife Wanda of Chincoteague, VA; two nephews Donnie and John Neal Thornton of Chincoteague, VA; one niece Roxanne Bowman of Chincoteague, VA; best friend Gloria Tull of Chincoteague, VA and several cousins. She was predeceased by a daughter Robin Binder and a brother Neal Blair Thornton.
Funeral Service will be held at Salyer Funeral Home, Inc., Chincoteague, VA, at 2 PM on Friday, June 5th, with Rev. Jennifer Tolbert officiating.
Friends are invited to call Friday from 1-2 PM. at Salyer Funeral Home, Inc..
