Ethel Ruth Bradley, 86, of Temperanceville, passed away on December 31, 2025, at her home.
She was born on March 17, 1939, to the late Stanley and Emma Watson (Haines) on Chincoteague Island, VA.
Ethel was born and raised on Chincoteague Island, VA She was crowned Miss Chincoteague in 1955. Ethel married the love of her life, "Pat" Fredrick Bradley Jr, on June 8th, 1958.
Ethel is survived by her three children, Vicky Ennis (Bob) of Pocomoke, MD., Fredrick III "Freddie" of Horntown, VA., Chris Bradley (Karen) of Atlantic, VA., one brother; Eddie Watson of Chincoteague Island, VA., one grandson Michael Ennis (Ashley) of Pocomoke, MD., eight great-grandchildren, one great great-grandson and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband of 65 years, Fredrick Raymond Bradley, II, and four brothers: James, Arthur, Raymond, and Robert Watson.
Visitation will take place on Tuesday, January 6, at 1 pm at Union Baptist Church on Chincoteague Island, VA., with funeral services following at 2 pm, with Rev. Eley officiating.
Burial will take place in the Assawoman Methodist Church Cemetery, in Assawoman, VA.
There will be a time of food and fellowship for everyone following the service at Atlantic United Methodist Church, 10052 Atlantic Rd, Atlantic, VA.
