Etruelle Maggie "Trudy" Parks

Etruelle Maggie "Trudy" Parks, 85, of Chincoteague Island, VA passed away on  January 10, 2023 at Shore Health and Rehabilitation Center in Parksley, VA.   
She was born in Nicholls, GA on April 25, 1937 to the late Demory and Francies (Sapp) Meeks.
She was a member of Union Baptist Church on Chincoteague Island, Va.  She loved flowers, gardening and cooking.
Etruelle is survived by her two daughters, Sandra Barrett and her husband Mark of Chincoteague Island, VA, Susan McIntire and her husband Mike of Sunnyside, WA; Granddaughters, Jackie Holloway of Chincoteague Island, VA, Lorie Barrett of Chincoteague Island, VA, Stacie Higginbotham and her husband Joey of Sunnyside, WA,  April Rodgers; Grandsons, Bryan McIntire and his wife Brandy of Wala Wala, WA, Ricky Rodgers; seven great grandchildren. 
She was preceded in death by her parents, Husband, Hall Parks and Son, Richard Rodgers, Jr..
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, January 18, 2023, 2:00 pm at the Salyer Funeral Home, Inc., Chincoteague Island, VA with Rev. Kevin Eley, officiating.
Burial will take place in the Daisey Cemetery on Church Street on Chincoteague Island, VA.
