Etta Lou Hill, 79, of Greenbackville, VA passed away on December 15, 2020 at her home.
She was born in Fruitland, MD on April 10, 1941 to the late Robert and Martha (Martin) Day.
She was a member of Union United Methodist Church and Greenbackville Vol. Fire Department Ladies Auxiliary.
Etta is survived by her loving spouse of 34 years, Arthur "Reds" Hill of Greenbackville, VA; three daughters, Teresa Wimbrow and her husband Paul of Greenbackville, VA, Pamela Hoffman and her husband Jim of Salisbury, MD, Dana Massey and her husband Jeff of Greenbackville, VA; step daughter, Teresa Selby and her husband Robert of Greenbackville, VA; step son, Robert Hill and his wife Jamie of Greenbackville, VA; three grandsons, Kyle Watkinson and his wife Ashley of Parksley, VA, Tyler Watkinson and his wife Nikki of Greenbackville, VA, Brice Massey of Greenbackville, VA; two step grandsons, Bobby Selby and his wife Tammy of Parksley, VA, John Selby and his wife Amanda of Staunton, VA; three great-granddaughters, Natalie Watkinson of Princess Anne, MD, Hailey Watkinson of Princess Anne, MD, Mackenzie Watkinson of Greenbackville, VA; two great-grandsons, Grayson Watkinson of Greenbackville, VA, Kenson Watkinson of Parksley, VA; two step great-granddaughters, Tracy Selby of Parksley, VA, Addisynn Selby of Staunton, VA; step great-grandson, Levi Selby of Staunton, VA; several brother-in-laws, sister-in-laws, nieces, and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, son, Howard Milton Marshall, Jr., two twin great-granddaughters, Addison and Kenslee Watkinson, sister, Elizabeth Drummond, brother, Robert Day, Jr., and first husband, Howard "Pete" Marshall, Sr..
Graveside services will be held on Sunday, December 20, 2020, 2:00 pm at the Greenbackville Cemetery, Greenbackville, VA, with Rev. Brenda Laws, officiating.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Union United Methodist Church 2198 Spinnaker Street, Greenbackville, VA 23356 or Greenbackville Vol. Fire Department, PO Box 156, Greenbackville, VA 23356.
