George R. Alward III, 72, of Atlantic, passed away at his residence, on October 7, 2022.
He was born on April 17, 1950 to George and Elizabeth Alward in Lincoln, ME. He attended Chincoteague High School. George worked as a Electrician for NASA. He was a member of Goodwill Baptist Church
George is survived by his Son, George Alward IV and his wife Candice; grandchildren, Maggie and Ian Alward; all of Atlantic, VA; Sister, Jeanie Alward; and his brother and sister-in-laws Richard and Lisa Alward.
He was preceded in death by his spouse, Linda Carol Alward.
Funeral services will be held graveside at 2 pm on October 11, 2022, at the John Taylor Memorial Cemetery In Temperanceville, VA with Rev. Maury Enright, officiating.
