Grace Anne Jester

Grace Anne Jester, 83, of Chincoteague Island, VA, passed away on May 28, 2023, at Shore Health and Rehab in Parksley, VA.  She was born in New York on March 30, 1940, to the late John and Jeanette (Fletcher) Gallagher, Sr.   She was a member of Christ United Methodist Church on Chincoteague Island, VA. Grace Anne is survived by her nephews, John J. Gallagher, III (Beth) of Louisville, KY, and Michael K. Gallagher (Donna) of Nokesville, VA; her sister-in-law, Shelia Gallagher of Chincoteague Island, VA; her five great nieces and nephews: Rachael, David, Caroline, Sarah, and Quinn; and several cousins. Along with her parents, Grace Anne was preceded in death by her husband, Donald Jester, and her brother, John James (Jack) Gallagher, Jr. 

Memorial services will be held on Friday, June 2nd, at 2 pm at the Christ United Methodist Church, with Rev. Jon Woodburn officiating.
