Gregory Birch

Mr. Gregory Mark Birch, 52, of Chincoteague Island, VA went home to be with the Lord Saturday, January 1st, 2011 surrounded by his family at his residence.
Gregory was born in Salisbury, Maryland on September 23, 1958, the son of the late Robert and Frances (Williams) Birch.
He was a member of Island Baptist Church in Chincoteague, VA.
He was a Case Management Supervisor for Eastern Correctional Institution in Princess Anne, MD for 22 years.
He is survived by his loving wife of 27 years Susan Howard Birch of Chincoteague, VA; three precious children Robert Carter Birch, Hannah Victoria Birch, and Christian Alexander Birch all of Chincoteague, VA; two brothers Randy Birch and his wife Susan of Chincoteague, VA, Allen Birch and his wife Michele of Windsor, VA; a sister Jan Birch of Seaford, DE; a father and mother-in-law Carey and Betty Howard of Chincoteague, VA; brother-in-law Shane Howard of Eugene, OR; several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, and many dear friends.
Friends are invited to call Monday 7-9 PM. at Salyer Funeral Home, Inc. 6327 Church St., Chincoteague, VA.
Funeral Service will be held at Island Baptist Church, 3380 Willow St. Chincoteague Island, VA, at 2 PM on Tuesday, January 4th, with Rev. Nathan Walker officiating.
Interment will be held at John W. Taylor Memorial Cemetery Temperanceville, VA.
