Gregory Hillman Hopkins

Gregory Hillman Hopkins, 72, of Chincoteague Island, VA passed away suddenly on March 5, 2021.

He was born in Nassawadox, VA on April 11, 1948 to the late Hillman and Geneva (Daisey) Hopkins. Gregory worked as a truck driver for West Trucking.

Gregory is survived by his loving spouse of 32 years, Marsha Mazuchowski Hopkins of Chincoteague Island, VA; two sons, Dustin Miera of ID, Richard Cook of Palmetto, FL; daughter, Tina Cook of Millsboro, DE; nine grandchildren, Shawna, Jeff, Gregory, Nicole, Dakota, Emma, Katie, Caroline, and Beni; niece, Sherry Hervas of IL; great niece, Tia; and great nephew, Tyler; his trucking buddy, D.J..

He was preceded in death by his parents, daughter, Michelle Hopkins, sister, Judy Bowman, and brother, Larry Hopkins, and step father, Robert Mozingo.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, March 11, 2021, 2:00 pm with a viewing a hour prior from 1 pm to 2 pm at the Salyer Funeral Home, Inc., Chincoteague Island, VA with Pastor Phil Bennicoff officiating.
