Hector H. Castillo, 67 of Horntown, VA formerly of Brooklyn, New York, passed away Saturday, March 19th, at Shore Life Care at Parksley, in Parksley, VA.
Hector was born in Puerto Rico on October 19, 1943, a son of the late Gladys (Soto) Rivera and Hector H. Castillo.
He was a Machine Operator for New York Envelope in New York. He was an avid horse lover and fisherman.
He is survived by his wife of 35 years Nancy (Seda) Castillo of Horntown, VA; eleven children, Annette Castillo of NY, Eric Castillo and his wife Margarita of PA, Richard Castillo and his wife Ivonne of PR, David Castillo and his wife Vilma of PR, Isabelino Santos and his wife Christine of VA, Michelle Capers and fiancé' Jose Hidalgo of VA, Jacqueline Gardner and her husband Lamar of NY, Jonathan Castillo of OH, Joseph Castillo of VA, Shelina Walji of VA, Jessica Castillo of VA; 24 grandchildren, one unborn; 2 great grandsons; one brother Joseph Castillo of NY; one sister Nellie Aviles of NY; and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by a son Hector Castillo.

Funeral Service will be held at Salyer Funeral Home, Inc., Chincoteague, VA, at 7 PM on Monday, March 21st, with Rev. John Thorne officiating.
