Ingelow Faye Young Ford

Mrs. Ingelow Faye Young Ford, 81, of Chincoteague Island, VA
went to be with the Lord, Sunday, April 12th, 2009 at her residence.
Faye was born in Gargatha, VA on December 17, 1927, the daughter of the late George R. and Rosa (Adams) Berry.
She was a member of Woodberry United Methodist Church in Gargatha.
She worked as a dedicated bookkeeper for Church Street Supply on Chincoteague until the day of her passing, and is remembered fondly by many island residents as a bookkeeper for the D. L. Edgerton Co. and as a longtime waitress for Pony Pines Restaurant and AJ's Restaurant. Faye was a member of American Legion Post #159 in Chincoteague.
She was married for many years to the late Norris J. Young of Chincoteague and was the widow of James Ford. Faye was predeceased by twelve brothers and sisters..
Faye is survived by two children, a daughter, (Sandra) Leigh Young Chase of Sanford, FL.
a son,George W. Young and his wife Donna of Chincoteague;
three grandsons Brent E. Bundick and his wife Stephanie of Keller, TX, Christian Young and his wife Christine of Chincoteague, and Jason Young of Chincoteague; two great granddaughters Georgia and Brigit Bundick of Keller, TX; and many nieces and nephews.
Friends are invited to call Wednesday 7-9 PM at Salyer Funeral Home, Inc.
Funeral Service will be held at Christ United Methodist Church Chincoteague at 2 PM on Thursday, April 16th, with Rev. Travis DeLoach and Rev. Maurice Enright officiating.
Interment will be held in the Parksley Cemetery in Parksley, VA.
