It is with great sadness that we announce Janet Louise Tull, 84, of Chincoteague Island, VA, went into the arms of the Lord on August 7, 2025, at her residence in Chincoteague Island, VA, surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Chincoteague Island, VA, on October 27, 1940, to the late Mordicai and Flossie (Williams) McGee. She lived a long and full life. For many years, she poured her heart into running Inlet View Campground, where she welcomed friends and treated them like family. She loved to cook and also ran Louise's Kitchen at the campground, serving her legendary oyster fritters. Her cooking was never just about the food, but about creating memories with family and friends. She had a deep faith in God and cherished her role as the anchor of our family, as she felt this was her greatest joy. She was a member of Union Baptist Church on Chincoteague Island, VA, for many years. Louise is survived by her loving Daughter, Janet Mason (Matt Sr) step-daughter Vicky Tull, daughter in law Nancy Adams; sister Ruth Budd, brother Carlton "Cork" McGee; Grandchildren; Terrie Lynn Rhodes (Chris Bunting), Sharon Rhodes Wood (Chris Wood), Roger Adams (Britney Adams), and Thomas Adams (Michelle Adams), Great grandchildren; Christopher Fox, Brenna Arceneaux (Kyle), Savannah Adams, Austin Adams, Anthony Wood, Wilson Wood, Zachary Wood, Waylen Adams, Emma Adams, Billy, Brandon, and Noah McGee, Skyler & Trevor Bunting; several great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
