Jimmy Darrel Patton, 56 of Chincoteague, VA passed away Sunday, February 20th, at his residence.
Jimmy was born in MS on December 15, 1954, a son of Claire J. (Jennings) Weeks of LA and the late Charles P. Patton, Sr.
He served in the U.S. Army. He was a member of Union Baptist Church in Chincoteague, Kiwanis Club, and American Legion Post # 159.
He is survived by two daughters Kimberly Cummings and Mark of Baton Rouge, LA, Lindsay Williams of Pensacola, FL; one grandson Ethan Cummings of Baton Rouge, LA; three brothers Charles P. Patton Jr. and his wife Janet of MD, Gary L. Patton and his wife Mary of AR, James Buck Hailey of VA; three sisters Brenda Nicholson and her husband Doyle of LA, Jackie Parr and her husband Terry of LA, Michelle Rohr and her husband Bill of PA; special friend Melody Reed of Chincoteague, VA; several nieces, nephews, and cousins. He was predeceased by a brother Rusty Patton and step father Rudy Weeks.
Memorial Service will be held at Salyer Funeral Home, Inc., Chincoteague, VA, at 2 PM on Wednesday, February 23rd, with Rev. Kevin Eley officiating.
