Johnny Raw

Jonathan "Johnny" Raw,72, of Chincoteague Island, VA passed away Sunday, August 14th, at his residence.
Johnny was born in Cambridge, MD on August 20, 1938, the son of the late Cynthia (Ulrich) and Raymond Raw.
He was an avid fisherman and hunter. He was a member of the Elks Lodge in Pocomoke, Ducks Unlimited, and the NRA.
He is survived by his wife of 49 years,Patricia C. Raw of Chincoteague Island, VA; two daughters, Mary Esther Raw Leonard and her husband Arthur of Chincoteague Island, VA, Julie Raw Young and her husband Carl of New Church, VA; four grandchildren, Cynthia Leonard Wilder and her husband Justin of Charlotte, NC, Hunter and Ayden Leonard of Chincoteague Island, VA, Jonathan Young of New Church, VA; several nieces, nephews, and cousins. He is also survived by his faithful Pug, Windi. He was predeceased by a brother, David "Dink" Raw.
Memorial Service will be held at Salyer Funeral Home, Inc., Chincoteague Island, VA, at 7 PM on Thursday, August 18th, with Rev. Kevin Eley officiating.
