Judith Hayden Ayres, "Judy, MiMi", 71, of Chincoteague Island, VA went to her permanent home with her heavenly father on May 26, 2021.
Judy was self employed as an abstracter for 31 years. Of all her accomplishments in her life being a child of God, wife, mother and MiMi was her favorite.
She was born in Paris Island, SC and graduated high school from Parksley High School in 1967. She then married her high school sweetheart and love of her life, James Hamilton Ayres in 1969. They lived a happy loving life together for 52 years.
Judy leaves behind her loving husband Jim; four daughters, Gabrielle Rosenthall-Ayres and her husband Mark, Heather McNeel and her husband Bobby, Meredith Howell and her husband Seth andTaylor Ayres; twelve grandchildren, Kyrstyn Ayres, Alexis McNeel, Kevin McNeel, Joshua Rosenthal-Ayres, Rachel Rosenthal-Ayres, Samuel Rosenthal-Ayres, Braedyn Ayres, Kinsley Cook, Raheem Lankford Jr, James Howell, Hayden Howell, Reid Howell; six great grandchildren; brother, Kenneth Hayden and his wife Janet and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Kenneth and Eloise Hayden.
Services will be held at Chincoteague Church of God. Visitation will be Tuesday, June 1, 2021, 7:00 pm - 9:00 pm and funeral will be Wednesday, June 2, 2021, 11:00 am with Pastor Kevin Stanley officiating. Followed by interment at Fairview Lawn Cemetery in Onancock, VA.
