Ms. Kathleen Burchett, 59, of Chincoteague Island, VA formerly of Neavitt, MD, passed away Sunday, October 11th, 2009 at her residence.
Kathleen was born in Sharon, PA on September 23, 1950, the daughter of the late Ransford John Riddle and May Ellen (Fulkerson). She graduated from Sharon High School in 1968 and attended Southern Seminary Junior College. Her working career was with Cadmus Journal Services where she was employed as an editor for the American Journal of Pathology and the Journal of Molecular Diagnostics. She was one of the first lady to be admitted to Isaac Walton League. She was a wildlife rehabilationist. She was also member of the Eastern Star in Easton, MD.
Kathleen is survived by a son Robert John Burchett of Chincoteague, VA; a sister Pat Pine of Brookfield, Ohio and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a sister Barbara Joyce Riddle.
Services are private at the convenience of family in Sharon, PA.
