Kaye Jones Dingus

Kaye Jones Dingus, 75, of Chincoteague Island, VA passed away on May 6, 2018 at PRMC in Salisbury, MD.

She was born on Chincoteague Island, VA on July 19, 1942 to the late Ralph and Bernice (Broadwater) Jones.

She was a member of Union Baptist Church, Rainbow Sisters Sunday School Class, and Accomack Chapter # 62 Order of Eastern Star. She retired as the bookkeeper for family owned hardware store, Showard Brothers and later Mason Oil Company. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. She loved spending time with her granddaughters.

Kaye is survived by her loving spouse of 54 years, David C. Dingus of Chincoteague Island, VA; daughter, Kimberly D. Dingus of Chincoteague Island, VA; son, D. Adam Dingus and his wife Christine of Pocomoke City, MD; two granddaughters, Samantha and Sydney Dingus both of Pocomoke City, MD; sister, Rita Boulter and her husband Joseph of Wachapreague, VA; brother, Ralph Larry Jones and his wife Donna of Chincoteague Island, VA; many beloved nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, and cousins.

Visitation will be held Wednesday, May 9, 2018, 7:00 pm - 9:00 pm at Salyer Funeral Home, Inc., Chincoteague Island, VA with an Eastern Star Service at 7:30 pm..

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, May 10, 2018, 2:00 pm at the Union Baptist Church, Chincoteague Island, VA, with Rev. Kevin Eley, officiating.

Interment will take place in the Downing Cemetery in Oak Hall, VA.
