Linda Carol Alward

Linda Carol Alward, 71, of Atlantic, VA passed away on  August 3, 2021 at Riverside Shore Memorial Hospital in Onancock, VA.  
She was born In Syracuse, NY on December 6, 1949 to the late William F. Schapley and Hilda (Clark) Broussard.
She was a member of Goodwill Baptist Church in Stockton, MD .
Linda is survived by her loving spouse of 51 years, George R. Alward III of Atlantic, VA, Son, George R. Alward, IV and his wife Candice of Atlantic, VA; Grandson, Ian Alward of Atlantic, VA; Granddaughter, Maggie Alward of Atlantic, VA; Sister, Dolores Lee and her husband William of Gautier, MS; Brother, Richard Broussard and his girlfriend Tina of Biloxi, MS; Brother-in-law, Richard Alward and his wife Lisa of Dennis, MA; several nieces and nephews. 
She was preceded in death by her parents, step father, Sydney Broussard, and a sister, Denise Broussard.
 Graveside service will be held on Saturday, August 7, 2021 at 3:00 pm at the John Taylor Memorial Cem., Temperanceville, VA, with Pastor Wayne Hart, officiating.
