Lloyd "Jeff" Potts

Lloyd "Jeff" Potts Jr., 67, of Chincoteague Island, VA passed away on  February 17, 2023, at his residence.  
He was born in Salisbury, MD on July 27, 1955, to Lloyd Potts and Faye (Reed) McNure. 
He spent his early life working on clam boats before becoming a real estate agent.  He worked for several agencies, the most recent being Coldwell Banker on Chincoteague Island, Va.  He loved and was very proud to be a Chincoteaguer. 
He was a member of Chincoteague Church of God and Angler's Sunday School Class at Union Baptist Church in Chincoteague Island, VA.
Lloyd is survived by his son, Jonathan Lloyd Potts, and his wife Crystal of Greenbackville, VA; two grandchildren Brandon and Cassidy of Greenbackville, VA; mother, Faye Reed McNure and her husband Moses of Chincoteague Island, VA; two siblings, Myra MacPherson and her husband Keith of Royal Oak, MD, Moe McNure and his wife Elaine of New Church, VA; cat and loyal friend companion, Benson; several aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews.  
He was preceded in death by his father, Lloyd Potts, Sr., brother, Joseph Sorrells, Jr., and special aunt and uncle George and Ruby Hall.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, February 22, 2023, at 2:00 pm with a viewing an hour prior at the Union Baptist Church, Chincoteague Island, VA, with Mr. Billy Jo Tarr, officiating.
Burial will take place in the Greenwood Cemetery on Chincoteague Island, VA.
