Louis Benjamin Jester Jr. affectionately known as Buddy passed away peacefully on Friday, November 18, 2022 at Tidal Health Peninsula Regional Hospital surrounded by his loving family. Born on April 2, 1960 to the late Louis and Gloria Jester. He was one of a kind always willing to help others. He was thoughtful, and giving and never met a stranger. He would do anything and everything to help others out. Buddy retired from VDOT after 31 years, but still continued with his business B&C Seal Coating, which he thoroughly enjoyed. When his health started to decline, he turned B&C Seal Coating over to his as he would say “my two sons”, Zack and Tyler Tilghman,
He is survived by his devoted and beloved Faye with whom he shared many wonderful years and especially loved and cherished Cecil Bundick IV whom he considered his son as well as many other members of Faye’s family. Also, three sisters, Brenda Holloway, “Ed” of Milford DE., Nancy Mitschke “Ted” of Parksley Va., Ann Jester of Chesapeake VA; his two fur-babies Trixie and LuLu as well as several nieces and nephews, and their families and friends. He was Predeceased by his parents and sister, Betty Reed, two brothers, Bobby Jester and Clifton Jester.
Visitation will be held Monday November 21, 2022 at 7pm-9pm at Salyer Funeral Home Inc. Chincoteague Island, VA.
Funeral services will be held at 2pm Tuesday, November 22, 2022 at Union Baptist Church, Chincoteague Island, VA
Burial will take place at Parksley Cemetery in Parksley VA.
