Melissa Ann Abramson, 45, of Exmore, VA passed away on January 30, 2021 at her residence.
She was born in Trenton, NJ on February 19, 1975 to the late Eric Abramson and Marcella (Gurz) Fields.
Melissa's favorite thing to do most, was to be with her daughter. They would do arts and crafts together and loved each other very much. Melissa loved to paint and express her artistic side. Melissa was an avid reader and also wrote poetry.
Melissa is survived by her loving fiancée Brian Doughty of Exmore, VA; daughter Shyla Rose Doughty of Exmore, VA; sister, Rebecca Cardone and her husband Nick of Marlton, NJ, ; brother, Lucas Abramson and his wife Kim of New Orleans, LA; five step siblings, Lloyd Fields Jr., Sara Fields, Carlton Fields, Celestine Fields, and Tony Fields; several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Memorial Service will be held on February 20th, 2021 at 1 PM at Salyer Funeral Home, Inc. on Chincoteague Island, VA.
