Miguel “Pudge” Ethan Soto Trader, a cherished son, father, brother, grandson, nephew, cousin, and friend, passed away on September 10, 2025, at the age of 25. Born on April 7, 2000, in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, he was the beloved son of Clarissa Victoria Trader, Miguel “Pochi” Soto Jr., and Charles Thomas Trader. He spent his childhood growing up on the Eastern Shore of Virginia, where he built lifelong memories and friendships.
Pudge is lovingly remembered by his siblings: Tatyana Yesenia Soto Trader, Leilani Daisy Soto Trader, and Charles Thomas “TJ” Trader Jr. He was a devoted father to his two greatest joys, Aria Belle Soto Trader and Xavier Dean Merritt. A proud graduate of Arcadia High School, Pudge’s life was defined by his big heart, his comedic sense of humor, and his ability to light up every room he entered. He had a deep love for music, an unwavering passion for the Philadelphia Eagles, and a gift for making people smile. To those who knew him, he was a source of laughter, love, and comfort.
Pudge’s presence will be profoundly missed, but his spirit will live on in the hearts of his children, family, and all who had the blessing of knowing him. His legacy of love, joy, and kindness will continue to inspire those he leaves behind.
