Nancy Derrickson Hall

Nancy Derrickson Hall, wife of the late Eugene Hall, entered heaven on May 1, 2026. Born on January 28, 1940, she was the daughter of the late Andy and Rhoda Derrickson (Tarr). Nancy was predeceased by a special sister and brother-in-law, Pat and Bill Jones, and sisters-in-law, Maureen Derrickson, Jeanette Taylor, and Betty Massey.

Nancy attended Union Baptist Church in her early years and became a member of Greenbackville United Methodist Church when married. It was there that she taught Sunday School and Bible School for several years.

She is survived by her son, Todd (Carol) of Greenbackville, and her daughter, Traci Evans (Darren) of Temperanceville, as well as a special brother, Bill Derrickson of Chincoteague. Grandchildren include Jason Hart (Shayna), Christian Burnsworth (RJ), Jennifer Stapleton (Brandon), and Brennan Hall. In addition, she is survived by a sister-in-law, Mary Frances Riggin, great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.

Graveside services will be held at 11 am on Tuesday, May 5, 2026, at John Taylor Cemetery in Temperanceville, VA., with Maury Enright officiating.
