Nancy Virginia Moran

Nancy Virginia "Dumpling" Moran, 73, of Chincoteague Island, VA passed away on December 23, 2019 at Shore Health and Rehabilitation Center in Parksley, VA.

She was born on Chincoteague Island, VA on July 9, 1946 to the late John and Florence (Williams) Taylor.

She was a member of Christ United Methodist Church on Chincoteague Island, VA.

Nancy is survived by her loving spouse of 38 years, Edward James Moran Sr. of Chincoteague Island, VA; two sons, Edward Sigmund, Jr. and his wife Elaine of Las Vegas, John T, Moran and his wife Linda of Chincoteague Island, VA,; four grandsons, Matthew Moran and his wife Heather of Chincoteague Island, VA, Kenny Moran of CA, Chris Ward of Las Vegas, Nicholas Kennedy of Chincoteague Island, VA; four granddaughters, Brenna Benzarti of Chincoteague Island, VA, Brittany Sigmund of Fruitland, MD, Misty Diaz and her husband Raymond of Wendell, NC, Paige Long and her husband Matthew of Delmar, MD; two sisters, Susie Melvin of Chincoteague Island, VA, Libby Hoover and her husband Billy of Las Vegas; four great grandchildren, Connor, Mary Jane, Axel, and Kash; several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her parents and Son, Edward Moran, Jr.

Visitation will be held Saturday, December 28, 2019, 7:00 pm - 9:00 pm at Salyer Funeral Home, Inc., Chincoteague Island, VA.

Funeral services will be held on Sunday, December 29, 2019, 3:00 pm at the Christ United Methodist Church, Chincoteague Island, VA, with Rev. Maurice Enright, officiating.

Burial will take place in the Daisey Cemetery on Church Street Chincoteague Island, VA.
