Mrs. Nancy Ann Cherrix Yunker, 48, of Chincoteague, VA went to be with the Lord, Tuesday, January 27th, 2009.
Nancy was born in Chincoteague, Virginia on June 12, 1960, the daughter of the late Carroll Burt and Katherine "Honey" (Bowden) Cherrix.
She was a member of Union Baptist Church in Chincoteague, VA. and Accomack Chapter #62 Order of Eastern Star.
Nancy is survived by a husband Tim Yunker of Atlantic, VA a son,Neil Kennovin IV of Atlantic, VA.
three sisters, Peggy wife of Jay Wesley Jeffries of Chincoteague Island, VA., Terri Rose of New Church, VA., Eva wife of Mark Shallis of Lewes, DE.
two brothers, Harold husband of Kim Cherrix of Chincoteague Island, VA., Carroll Burt Cherrix Jr. of Chincoteague Island, VA.
She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins
Funeral Service will be held at Union Baptist Church, Chincoteague, VA, at 2 PM on Saturday, January 31st, with Rev. Maurice Enright officiating.
Friends are invited to call Friday 7-9 PM. at Salyer Funeral Home.
Eastern Star Service will take place at 7:30 on Friday at Salyer Funeral Home.
Interment at Cherrix Family Cemetery in Chincoteague, VA.
