Nicholas Ryan Potts “NICK”, 26, passed away on April 9th, 2023.
He was the loving son of Larry Ray Potts, Jr. and Natalie Anne Potts.
In Nicholas’ young life, he enjoyed many passions including playing video games with his online friends, honing his skills on the skateboard, and tinkering with his vehicle. Not one to be bored for long, you could also catch him swimming at the beach where he always found peace and solitude amongst the waves and sand. Nicholas had an amazing sense of humor and made friends everywhere he went. Nick never missed a single day of saying “I love you Dad & I love you, Mom “.
Nicholas was previously employed by R.H. Contracting building new homes and working on Wallops Island for Navy construction projects. Nick was currently employed as a forklift operator for Perdue Farms.
He was predeceased by his grandparents; Larry Potts, Sr; Judy Linton, Alan Rovin, Grandmother, Helena Levy, and his brother Larry Ray Potts III.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by his fiancé, Amanda Bare, his brothers, Christopher Davis, Daniel Davis, and Kayden Denton and his Step-Grandfather, Al Levy, and several aunts and uncles
Funeral Service will be held on Friday, April 14th, 2023 at 2 pm at Salyer Funeral Home, Inc. on Chincoteague Island, VA with a viewing an hour prior from 1 to 2 pm, Rev. Maury Enright will be officiating. Interment will be held in the John W. Taylor Memorial Cemetery in Temperanceville, Va.
