Norma Sue Clark Wood

Mrs. Norma Sue Clark Wood, 51, of Chincoteague Island, VA. passed away Saturday, October 2nd, 2010 at Peninsula Regional Medical Center, Salisbury, MD.
Norma was born in Nassawadox, VA on November 23, 1958, the daughter of the late John L. and Norma E. (Brittingham) Clark of Chincoteague, VA.
She was a member of Christ United Methodist Church Chincoteague Island, VA and American Legion Auxiliary Post # 159.
She is also survived by her husband Jack Wood of Chincoteague, VA and her beloved dog, baby Bear; five step children Mark Wood of CA, Todd Wood and his wife Diane of MD, Lisa Butta and her husband Mitchell of MD, Sharon Wolffe and friend John of TX, Rita Matalbo of TX; five grandchildren; four brothers Raymond Clark and his wife Kathi of DE, John Clark of DE, Allen Clark and his wife Debbie of VA, Clay Clark of VA; two sisters Wanda Bogush and her husband Kenny of VA and Dottie Brewington and husband Irvin of MD; several nieces,newphew, and cousins.
Friends are invited to call Wednesday 7-9 PM. at Salyer Funeral Home, Inc. Chincoteague, VA.
Funeral Service will be held at Christ United Methodist Church, Chincoteague Island, VA, at 2 PM on Thursday, October 7th, with Rev. Travis DeLoach officiating.
Interment will be held at Downing Cemetery, Oak Hall, VA.
