Mr. Raymond Scott (Pee Wee) Watson, 74, of Temperanceville, VA went to be with the Lord, Friday, October 2nd, 2009 at his residence.
Raymond was born in Chincoteague, Virginia on March 16, 1935, the son of the late Stanley A. and Emma (Haines) Watson.
He was a member of First Baptist Church in New Church, VA, Temperanceville Masonic Lodge #121, and Elks Lodge in Pocomoke, MD. He worked as a Insurance Agent for American General for 44 years.
He was predeceased by his first wife, Betty Sparrow Watson and their son Gregory Watson and two brothers Jimmy and Arthur Watson.
Raymond is survived by his wife of 16 years, Beverly Watson of Temperanceville, VA; a daughter Beth Barnes and her husband Alan of Salisbury, MD; step son Jay Bowden and his wife Linda of Pocomoke, MD; step daughter April Adams and her husband Kenny of Pocomoke, MD;four grandchildren, Zachary Barnes of Salisbury, Hope Bowden of Pocomoke, MD, Nikki and Carly Adams of Pocomoke, MD; sister Ethel Bradley and her husband Pat of Temperanceville, VA; two brothers Eddie Watson and his wife Hallie of Chincoteague, Va and Robert Watson and his wife Nancy of Chincoteague, VA; and several nieces and nephews.
Friends are invited to call Monday 7-9 PM. at Salyer Funeral Home, Inc. in Chincoteague, Va.
Funeral Service will be held at First Baptist Church, New Church, VA, at 2 PM on Tuesday, October 6th, with Rev. Bobby Parks officiating.
Interment will be held at John W. Taylor Memorial Cemetery Temperenceville, VA.
