Robert Elmer Cherrix

Robert "Bobby" Elmer Cherrix,67 of New Church, VA passed away Monday, April 4th, due to an automobile accident.
Robert was born in Chincoteague, Virginia on February 12, 1944, a son of the late Louise (Lewis) and Lawrence Cherrix.
He is survived by his fiance' Christina Gallagher of VA; two sons Bob Jack and Brandon Cherrix both of VA; three grandchildren; two sisters Jean Pruitt and Billie Rae Lowton both of VA; two brothers Johnny and Sammy Cherrix of VA; several nieces, nephews, and cousins. He was predeceased by a daughter Tillie Burkehead and a son Brian Cherrix.
Memorial Service will be held at Salyer Funeral Home, Inc., Chincoteague, VA, at 2 PM on Sunday, April 10th, with Rev. John Thorne officiating.
