Robert C. Meixner

Robert C. Meixner, 48 of Chincoteague Island, VA went to be with the Lord, Sunday, March 4th, 2012.
Robert was born in Plainfield, NJ on August 27, 1963, the son of Arlene (Young) and Carl Meixner, of Chincoteague Island, VA.
He was a member of Christ United Methodist Church Chincoteague Island, VA .
He worked as a grounds keeper for Cedar Gables Seaside Inn in Chincoteague Island, VA. Robert also worked as a handyman for many people on the Island. He will be greatly missed by all. He was a loving son, brother, uncle and friend.
He is also survived by three sisters, Peggy Meixner Waitikowich and her husband Butch of NJ, Karen Meixner Vogt and her husband Jim of NJ, Carlene Meixner Schiavo and her husband Bill of MD; four nephews, Marc, Kevin, Randy, Kris; one niece, Stephanie; one aunt, Barbara Flynn of DE; several cousins.
Friends and family are invited to call from 2-4 PM on Wednesday, March 7th at Christ United Methodist Church, Chincoteague Island, VA.
Funeral service will follow at 4 PM with Rev. Travis DeLoach officiating.
